Participants will learn about specific applications, programs, and web resources that can be used in their classrooms to increase both teacher effectiveness and student achievement. Examples include Kahoot!, NearPod, EduCanon, and Padlet.
Making the Most out of MyBigCampus
Participants will learn specific techniques and methods for using MyBigCampus effectively and efficiently. In addition to learning the basics of MyBigCampus, participants will learn how to create groups, pages, resources, and assign schoolwork.
Teaching the Next Spielberg – Utilizing iMovie in the Classroom
Participants will learn specific tips and tricks for utilizing iMovie in a practical and efficient manner. Participants will create their own “trailer” and will be able to create their own green screen project. The focus will be on creative use in the classroom and ability to create dynamic podcasts.
Integration of Resources and Webpage Creation
Participants will meet in their respective departments to discuss and plan effective implementation of resources learned during the day, as well as create individual teacher webpages on MyBIgCampus.
